About Printing Method
・The printing is done in our factory using UV-curable UV printing ink that can be used outdoors.
・We use the most durable ink against the abrasion and water, after testing with actual materials.
We apply a special “Cerakote” coating to this product to protect your valuable autograph from dirt and scratches. Developed by NIC in the United States, “Cerakote” is an exceptionally durable ceramic-based coating used in military equipment and by Harley-Davidson.
It repels water, boasts excellent durability, and is easy to clean—simply wipe it down with water. This allows you to maintain a beautiful finish for a long time while still enjoying the natural look and feel of the material.
In addition, for acrylic, anodized aluminum, and aluminum composite plates, we use a specialized protective film instead of “Cerakote”. Skilled craftsmen carefully apply the film by hand to preserve the design and colors for an extended period.
Along with blocking ultraviolet rays, it shields the plates from rain, wind, and scuffs. Because the film resists dirt, it’s virtually maintenance-free—if you notice any grime, just wipe the surface gently with a cloth dipped in water and a mild detergent.
Note: The protective film is part of the product and should not be peeled off upon delivery.

Regarding the painting of wood
・Our wood materials are finished with a water-based coating specially designed for outdoor use.
PIECE OF SIGN products have 3 years warranty.
This covers faulty workmanship and/or materials when the product is used in normal, domestic or commercial conditions and following the care and use instructions provided. It does not cover normal wear and tear, accidents, or misuse of the product. If the defect was caused by a manufacturing fault, the faulty product will be replaced free of charge.
If the original product is no longer in production, it will be replaced with the most similar product.
To claim under our 3 years warranty, please contact us with images of your faulty product and order number.
We do not accept returns on custom-made items, as each piece is crafted specifically for individual orders.
However, if an item arrives damaged, contains a mistake, or is missing any parts, we’ll make it right — either with a full refund or a free replacement.
Just send us a photo of the issue. There’s no need to return the item or pay any additional fees.
